An ever-evolving mineral resource professional, Tim has, over the past 17 years, participated in a global pipeline of development and production projects across 14 countries on 3 continents and in capacities spanning field roles to executive management. This journey has been with publicly-listed, privately-held and vertically-integrated companies as well as local and national governments.
Owing to his strong working knowledge of various ore types in the Precambrian terrains of West Africa and shear-hosted mineralized systems in Birimian-aged rocks, Tim’s range of technical lead encompasses discovery of mineralization on greenfields through to commercial and sustainable production.
In 2015, Tim shifted his attention to Nigeria where he has designed and led technical programmes that de-risked assets and provided advice to a myriad of HNI’s and investment boutiques. His focus has been on precious metals, battery metals and energy metals. He is the creator of the National Resource Compliant Exploration and Monetization Programme, an initiative that is actively helping to make Nigeria a leading mining jurisdiction for investment.
Together with a top 10 international bank and a consortium of Africa’s foremost mining consulting firms, Tim designed an appraisal and monetization model that will see mining boost Africa’s GDP by at least 10% per annum by 2024
Tim possesses a high degree of skill in property development from pre-feasibility stage into design, construction, and operations. This includes rehabilitating historic mining properties or advancing late stage exploration projects into producers.
